Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To identify, to develop, to test and/or to assess innovative approaches that have the potential to be mainstreamed in order to improve education and training systems
  • To launch pilot actions to test solutions and to address future challenges
  • To support transnational cooperation and mutual learning on forward-looking issues amongst key stakeholders and empowering them to develop innovative solutions and promote the transfer of those solutions in new settings

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To recognize that knowledge, skills, and attitudes developed during schooling are strong predictors of a balanced, healthy, and successful adult life
  • Priority 2: To ensure high quality skills that lead to quality employment and career-long opportunities, swiftly responding to the needs of an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable economy
  • Priority 3: To remove barriers to internal mobility for work and study purposes,
  • Priority 4: To develop a high performing digital education ecosystem
    Priority 5: To enhance digital skills and competences for the digital transformation
  • Priority 6: To focus on the assessment of individual students’ digital skills at primary and/or secondary level, including VET
  • Priority 7: To foster the organisational readiness and capacity of education and training institutions (at any level/s)
  • Priority 8: To focus on the key role of data in primary, secondary, and vocational education

Among financed actions

  • Improve quality, efficiency, attractiveness, equity and inclusion of education and training systems
  • Improve effectiveness of policies in the field of education and training
  • Support the implementation of EU Frameworks and legal initiatives as well as country-specific recommendations from the European Semester
  • Improve:  evidence and understanding of target group(s), learning and teaching situations and effective methodologies
  • Develop knowledge to support evidence-based policy
  • Trigger behavioural shifts at EU level
  • Development of joint transnational qualifications and/or modules

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme (Click here)
  • Be a higher education institutions (HEIs) established in Erasmus+ Programme Countries (see above): be holders of the ECHE certificate (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education)
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme, must be constituted

  • Total budget of the call: 32 million euro
  • Budget per topic:
    • 3 million (Topic 1)
    • 8 million (Topic 2, 3,4 and5)
    • 13 million (Topic 6,7 and 8)
  • Amount of the grant: up to 1 million euro
  • Funding rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
