AGRIP – Promotion of agricultural products programme aims at promoting measures for agricultural products intended to open up new markets and helping agricultural organisations to promote EU agri-food products into international markets, and to raise awareness among consumers of the efforts made by European farmers to provide quality products.

Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To increase awareness of the Union quality scheme and to enhance the competitiveness and consumption of products registered under a Union quality scheme
  • To increase awareness of the Union quality scheme on organic production and to enhance the competitiveness and consumption of organic products
  • To increase the awareness of the Union sustainable agriculture practices beneficial for the climate, the environment and animal welfare
  • To increase the consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables in the internal market in the context of balanced and healthy dietary practices
  • To increase the awareness of the merits of Union agricultural products by the European consumers and to enhance the competitiveness and consumption of Union agri-food products
  • To enhance the competitiveness and consumption of Union agri-food products in these targeted countries (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Canada, USA, Mexico)
  • To enhance the competitiveness and consumption of Union agri-food products around others targeted regions
  • To increase the awareness of the Union sustainable agriculture practices beneficial for the climate, the environment and animal welfare by the European consumers

Priorities 

  • Priority 1: to increase the consumption of EU fresh fruit and vegetables by informing consumers about balanced and healthy dietary practices
  • Priority 2: to enhance the competitiveness of the concerned Union agri-food products, raise their profile and increase their market share

Among financed actions  

  • Information and promotion campaigns
  • Communication tools (advertising, website…)

 Eligibility 

  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be an EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
  • Be a trade or inter-trade organisation, established in a Member State and representative of the sector or sectors concerned in that Member State
  • Be an EU trade or inter-trade organisations representative of the sector or sectors concerned at EU level
