Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To complete the EDIH network from Bosnia-Hertzegovina and Moldova, enhancing their performance and capacity to meet digitalisation needs, with a reinforced focus on AI technologies
  • To select new EDIHs from Seals of Excellence in the four associated countries, continuing to provide the full set of EDIH services with a reinforced focus on the transformative potential of AI technologies

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To support the digital transformation of SMEs and public sector organizations, with a specific emphasis on the development, training, deployment, and uptake of European AI
  • Priority 2: To strengthen the value chains of critical digital technologies is also a vital priority

 

Among financed actions

  • Test before invest: Providing access to technical expertise and experimentation facilities, particularly for AI-related services
  • Training and skill development: Offering training sessions for upskilling and reskilling the workforce in SMEs and public services
  • Support to find investments: Identifying and facilitating access to potential financing sources for digital transformation
  • Foster an innovation ecosystem and networking opportunities. EDIHs will also act as access points to the European network and provide a first-line AI help desk

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Digital Europe Programme (Click here)
  • A consortium composed of
    • Only preselected candidates from Bosnia-Hertzegovina and Moldova are eligible (see details on the call document) must be constituted (DIGITAL-2025-EDIH-AC-08-COMPLETION-STEP)
    • Only hubs having received the Seal of Excellence under call DIGITAL-2023-EDIH-04-ASSOCIATED for Albania, North Macedonia, Türkiye, and Ukraine are eligible (see details on the call document) must be constituted (DIGITAL-2025-EDIH-AC-08-CONSOLIDATION-STEP)
